THE E-BIKE, OUR WAY
What everyone knows about e-bikes today is simple: they make cycling more accessible for everyone. E-bikes are no longer unusual. Thanks to the extra electric boost, an e-bike lets you extend your range, keep up with stronger riding pals, and tackle steep climbs or technical terrain with ease.
E-bikes are a powerful tool for cycling equality. They act as great equalizers, allowing more people to share the joy of riding. And for us at 3T, sharing the ride matters.
But what 3T e-bikes offer goes beyond that. They deliver the same carbon frame and the same riding feel as our Racemax, Extrema, and Ultra platforms.
Cycling is what we love. At the end of the day, riding a road that cuts through nature is about fun, freedom, and the pleasure of riding a bike that looks and feels amazing.
We all love beautiful bikes. When we park our bike and walk away, most of us turn back for one last look. Bikes are pure design; just eight tubes, yet so much beauty.
Our e-bike frames are the same ones used for the non-electric versions. All electronics, cables, and batteries are housed inside the downtube.
No bulky sections, no external motors, no visible add-ons. Frankenstein-looking e-bikes? Not our style. That’s why we designed a range that stands apart from everything else on the market.
E-GRAVEL IN THREE FLAVORS
Just like our non-electric lineup, each 3T e-bike is built for a specific combination of uses. Starting from our Racemax, Ultra, and Extrema platforms, we created three distinct e-bikes to cover the full spectrum of gravel riding:
- e-Racemax: Our aero-gravel performer. Fast and efficient, perfect for smooth off-road tracks and road use moves without effort from alpine climbs and smooth asphalt to flowing gravel and even rough cobblestones.
- e-Ultra: Designed for tougher gravel and dirt tracks, with a geometry that offers a more upright, comfortable position. In its Flatbar version, it becomes a versatile machine for urban riding, mixed terrain, and bikepacking adventures.
- e-Extrema: The newest addition to the 3T e-bike family. A true all-terrain gravel bike, ready for technical singletrack and demanding surfaces, with clearance for wide tires from 47 mm to 57mm WAM.
THE BEST DRIVE SYSTEM FOR E-BIKES
Performance isn’t just about motor power or battery life. There’s more to it. Our e-bike project had three clear goals:
- Natural riding feel
- Design identical to non-electric versions
- Ease of use
With lightweight, stiff frame platforms that preserve the unmistakable 3T ride feel, we chose the Mahle X-20 system:
- Ultra-lightweight
- Smooth, natural assist
- Zero resistance when switched off
The motor sits in the rear hub for maximum efficiency and low weight, delivering surprising handling dynamics.
Torque reaches 65 Nm, powered by a 350 Wh battery. For even more range, you can add an optional Mahle 173 Wh range extender (just 1.1 kg), mounted in the bottle cage, boosting autonomy by 50%.
With smart battery management, a 75 kg rider can easily achieve 150+ km and 2000 m of elevation gain.
POWER AT YOUR FINGERTIPS
We wanted our e-bikes to look and ride just like their non-electric counterparts. Apart from the small control button on the top tube, we think we nailed it.
The Mahle system offers:
- Bluetooth & ANT+ connectivity
- Garmin compatibility
- Three preset power modes + one fully customizable via the MySmartBike app
It’s all incredibly simple. If it weren’t for that LED button, you’d struggle to tell a Racemax from an e-Racemax, an Ultra from an e-Ultra, or an Extrema from an e-Extrema.
