Racemax+ WPNT

Built to go fast, for everyone who wants to.

A fast ride with friends. Your first gravel race. A stretch of pavement where you take the lead. The Racemax+ WPNT builds on the original 2020 Racemax with more tire clearance, updated geometry, six frame sizes, and a lower starting price. It carries the same idea of speed from one surface to the next.

Inside the Racemax+ WPNT

What the "+" means

When we launched the original Racemax in June 2020, it brought a distinctive aero shape to fast gravel. In 2021, we began manufacturing that same design in Presezzo, Italy.

Today, two symbols tell you how the Racemax family has evolved. The ² in the Racemax² marks a new generation, developed alongside our Italian carbon manufacturing process. The + in the Racemax+ WPNT marks a substantial update to the original design. Its familiar silhouette carries forward, with changes to the frame, fork, and fit.

What’s changed?

Compared with the previous Racemax WPNT, the Racemax+ WPNT pairs longer, 425 mm chainstays with increased fork offset for greater stability at speed. A steeper head angle helps the bike respond predictably as you choose your line through a turn.

The riding position has evolved, too. From S through XXL, stack is 3 mm higher and reach is 3 mm longer than on the previous model. With six sizes from XS to XXL, more riders can find a position that suits them for fast gravel riding.

It all starts with the tires.

Tire choice affects comfort and grip. It also determines how we shape the frame to guide air around the wheels. A tire marked 45 mm can measure differently depending on the rim and the pressure you run. That’s why we design around two dimensions taken with the tire mounted and inflated.

  • WAM — Width As Measured is the actual width of the tire at its widest point.
  • RAM — Radius As Measured is the distance from the center of the axle to the outermost point of the tire.

Two tires with the same WAM can have different radii, which matters wherever the tread passes close to the frame or fork.

Tire fit for the Racemax+ WPNT

  • Aero-optimized width: 38–48 mm WAM
  • Maximum with 1×: 51 mm WAM and 363 mm RAM
  • Maximum width with 2×: 48 mm WAM
  • Minimum dimensions: 36 mm WAM and 350 mm RAM

Design in details

Semi-Integrale cable routing

3T Semi-Integrale conceals up to three cables for a clean front end, including when you run a mechanical 1× drivetrain.

Universal Derailleur Hanger

The frame uses the UDH standard. If you need a replacement hanger, look for a Universal Derailleur Hanger.

Down tube profile

The down tube follows the original Racemax design. Just behind the front tire, its narrow upper section picks up airflow coming off the wheel. Farther down, the tube widens ahead of the water bottle, helping shield it from the wind.

Mechanical or electronic shifting

Build the Racemax+ WPNT with a mechanical 1× drivetrain or an electronic 1× or 2× drivetrain. If you choose a front derailleur, the frame accommodates tires measuring up to 48 mm WAM.

Rear wheel cutout

The seat tube closely follows the curve of the rear tire for a precise aero fit. The rear triangle still has room for tires measuring up to 51 mm wide with a 1× drivetrain.
