From the Far East back to Italy. We brought 3T production home, to the country where we were born and have always innovated.

Since 2018, we have brought carbon frame production back home, restarting manufacturing at our Presezzo facility, where we now produce
a complete range of high‑performance carbon frames and bicycles: Racemax² ITALIA, Racemax Boost ITALIA, Extrema ITALIA, Ultra² ITALIA, and Strada ITALIA.

Where we started

Most carbon frames on the market today are manufactured in Asia using standardized processes based on pre-preg carbon sheets. We asked ourselves a simple question: what if we could rethink the entire production process from the ground up and bring it back to Italy?

What kind of technology would we choose?

How could we improve quality while reducing costs and make the entire process more efficient?

How we did it

After an in-depth analysis of all available technologies, we made two key decisions:

• Switch from traditional pre-preg sheets to dry carbon fiber filaments

• Adopt an advanced manufacturing process: Resin Transfer Molding (RTM)

This combination allows us to rethink not just how frames are made but how performance, precision, and scalability come together.

What we achieved

Three key figures define our results:

• 50% less manual work on every raw frame, enabling a more efficient production process with greater consistency in quality.

• 78% reduction in raw material costs, providing greater freedom in fiber selection and engineering.

• 60% improvement in energy efficiency, by eliminating the need to store and transport carbon fiber in freezers.

Driving innovation forward

With a constant focus on improvement and development, we keep rethinking how to produce carbon frames in more efficient and sustainable ways. In 2026, introduced for the first time on the Ultra² ITALIA, we launched a new manufacturing process called Fusion Carbon.

Our Technologies

Our research and innovation have led us to develop two proprietary technologies in-house. Combined, they form a unique 3T manufacturing system, engineered and executed in Italy.

Filament Winding

When we set out to manufacture frames in Italy, there were no filament winding machines designed for the bicycle industry. So we engineered and built them ourselves.

These machines go beyond producing simple straight tubes, they create complex, performance-driven shapes, allowing us to apply continuous carbon fiber across the entire frame.

With this technology, 90% of the fiber placement is fully automated, leaving only 10% to manual work. The result is greater precision, repeatability, and structural integrity.

Resin Transfer Moulding

With Resin Transfer Molding (RTM), the resin is injected into the mold only after the dry carbon filaments have been precisely positioned and assembled.

The liquid resin fully saturates the structure, pushing out any remaining air and delivering a smooth, uniform, and defect-free finish. This eliminates the need for additional surface treatments or heavy, covering paint layers.

The outcome is not just aesthetic, it's a cleaner, stronger, and more efficient carbon structure, built for performance.

Jazz Carbon and Fusion Carbon

Jazz Carbon frames are built starting from dry filament, using a proprietary process technically known as Filament Winding Bladder‑Assisted Resin Transfer Moulding. Not exactly catchy, so we named it Jazz Carbon.
Like jazz music, the process is about creativity, precision, and mastery: the same qualities we bring to every frame we build.

The Fusion Carbon process builds on these same foundations, introducing a hybrid construction approach that combines proprietary technologies with selected elements of more traditional carbon construction.
The result is a more efficient and accessible manufacturing method, while preserving a large part of the structural and performance advantages of continuous fiber construction.

An Integrated Manufacturing Ecosystem

For 3T, carbon construction technology is just one part of a broader vision. Over the past years, we have built a fully integrated industrial ecosystem in Italy, covering every step of bicycle production, from raw carbon filament to a complete bike, ready to ride.

This vertical integration ensures complete control over quality, performance, and efficiency, all within a single regional supply chain.

WePaint

Once the carbon frames come out of the mold, the next step takes place at WePaint, our dedicated painting and finishing facility located in Montello, Bergamo.

By integrating painting within the same industrial ecosystem, we maintain full control over finishes, color precision, and durability, while significantly reducing logistics, handling, and environmental impact compared to outsourcing these processes overseas.

Final Assembly

The final phase of production takes place within the same regional ecosystem, where frames are transformed into complete 3T bicycles, ready to ride anywhere in the world.

Assembly represents the last step in the 3T production chain. Each bike that enters our facilities starts as a carbon filament, evolving into a finished, painted, and fully assembled performance bike.

Project X

The aesthetic quality of our carbon is so refined that we decided to offer a special naked version: Project X.

A thin layer of transparent coating protects the surface while revealing the unique texture of the carbon fiber underneath. The result is a finish that is both minimal and performance-driven, celebrating the material itself.

All models in the ITALIA range are available in the Project X version.

The made in Italy range

Racemax 2 ITALIA

A completely new design and a revolutionary manufacturing system based on RTM and dry fiber technology. Every detail is crafted by hand at our Presezzo facility, where painting is also carried out in-house.

A Ready-to-Paint option is also available, offering maximum freedom for customization.

Extrema ITALIA

Designed for ultra-endurance riders and adventure seekers, Extrema Italia comes in two colorways inspired by distance and the unknown: Selva and Abisso.

Like all Made in Italy models, it is also available in the raw Project X finish or in a Ready-to-Paint version, for maximum customization.

Ultra 2 ITALIA

The Ultra² Italia is designed to maintain speed and flow across changing terrain, combining comfort, control and capability into a new form of efficiency.

Built for long-distance riding, bikepacking adventures, technical trails, and extreme mountain races, it lets you keep moving
where you would normally have to slow down. Made in Italy using the new Fusion Carbon construction method.

Strada ITALIA

An innovative road bike that combines stiffness and aerodynamics with the comfort needed for every type of road. Fully manufactured in our Presezzo facility using Filament Winding and RTM technologies, Strada Italia delivers a truly radical riding experience.

Available in Project X raw finish and Ready-to-Paint versions for ultimate customization.

eBikes ITALIA

The frames of our assisted bikes are exactly the same as those used for the Racemax Italia and Extrema Italia non-assisted models. All electronic components, cables and batteries are fully integrated and invisible, neatly housed inside the downtube.

A perfectly clean design with low overall weight and optimized weight distribution, delivering a ride that feels natural, intuitive and fast across any terrain.

At the heart of the system is the Mahle X20 motor, delivering up to 65 Nm of torque from the rear hub. Compact, durable and highly reliable, it offers a riding experience that redefines expectations for e-bikes.

Torno Crank

Torno, Italian for “I return” was our first Made in Italy project, launched in 2018. With that crankset, our factory was reborn, inspired by a time when the finest frames and components were crafted in Italy with obsessive attention to detail.

Today, Torno remains a benchmark for lightness, aerodynamics and stiffness.
