The Exploro PRO frame has become a true classic, aero enough as a road bike to battle it out in a town-line sprint. Add the versatility to take on a multi-day off-road bike backing trip as well or why not take the muddier off-road route to the coffee shop?
This year’s edition gets a refreshed color in dark cherry. The Exploro PRO Rival Cherry comes with the stalwart 3T cockpit that we’ve always been known for. Your Exploro PRO will come with a Superego PRO bar and Apto stem.
Shifting comes from the excellent SRAM mechanical Rival 1x groupset. Plus, to tie the whole package together, you’ll be rolling on the very Italian combination of Fulcrum Rapid Red 900 wheels and Pirelli’s Cinturato M tires. Those new Rapid Red wheels have 22mm internal width that matches seamlessly with the wider gravel tires like the Cinturato. The Cinturato Mediums punch above their weight both on tarmac and on dirt. The continuous center tread gives you great rolling speed on hard surfaces but with enough spacing between the center and shoulder knobs, you get the right amount of grip when the surface is loose or wet.
Like with all members of the Exploro PRO and TEAM family a simple swap to 650b wheels makes this the ultimate adventure companion. You’ll be ready to take on aggressive singletrack or ambitious dropbar bike packing routes. The PRO and TEAM frames take up to 2..1 inch MTB tires so you can push the boundaries of your riding style to the max.
