ITALIA and ITALIA X 

From the far east back to Italy. We brought 3T production home, to the country where we were born and have always innovate.

Since 2018, we have brought carbon frame production back to Italy, restarting manufacturing at our Presezzo facility, where we now produce a complete range of high-performance carbon frames and bicycles. We offer these bikes in two versions: ITALIA and ITALIA X. 

In Italy, we go from design through production. From limited editions to full-series models. From gravel to road, built for racing and adventure. Driven by passion, we build the bikes of the future. 

Where We Started

Most carbon frames on the market today are produced in Asia using standardized manufacturing processes based on pre-preg carbon fiber sheets. We asked ourselves a simple question: what if we could rethink the entire production process from the ground up and bring it back to Italy?

What kind of technology would we choose?

How could we improve quality, reduce costs, and make the entire process more efficient?

How We Did It

After an in-depth analysis of all available technologies, we made two key decisions:

• Move from traditional pre-preg carbon sheets to dry carbon fiber filaments

• Adopt an advanced manufacturing process: Resin Transfer Molding (RTM)

This combination allows us to rethink not only how frames are made, but also how performance, precision, and scalability come together.

What We Achieved

Three key figures define our results:

• 50% less manual labor on each raw frame, enabling a more efficient manufacturing process with greater consistency in quality.

• 78% reduction in raw material costs, providing greater freedom in fiber selection and engineering.

• 60% improvement in energy efficiency, eliminating the need to store and transport carbon fiber in refrigerated environments.

Driving innovation forward 

With a constant focus on improvement and development, we continue to rethink how we manufacture carbon frames, making our processes ever more efficient and sustainable. For 2027, we have structured our production into two tiers: ITALIA and ITALIA X.

Our Technologies

Every ITALIAframe is made, painted and assembled in Italy in our factoryfrom continuous carbon fiber thread, using Filament Winding and RTM – Resin Transfer Moulding technologies.

Filament Winding

When we decided to manufacture frames in Italy, there were no filament winding machines designed specifically for the cycling industry. So we designed and built them ourselves.

These machines go beyond producing simple straight tubes. They create complex, performance-oriented shapes, allowing us to apply continuous carbon fiber throughout the frame.

With this technology, 90% of fiber placement is fully automated, leaving only 10% to manual labor. The result is greater precision, repeatability, and structural integrity.

Resin Transfer Moulding

With Resin Transfer Molding (RTM), resin is injected into the mold only after the dry carbon fiber filaments have been precisely positioned and assembled.

The liquid resin fully saturates the structure, displacing any remaining air and ensuring a smooth, uniform, defect-free finish. This eliminates the need for additional surface treatments or heavy paint layers to conceal imperfections.

The result is more than just aesthetic: it creates a cleaner, stronger, and more efficient carbon structure, engineered for performance.

ITALIA and ITALIA X Carbon Frames

ITALIA X introduces a new top tier within the 3T range, bringing together our most refined finishes, premium builds, and latest product solutions. It does not, however, create a new price ceiling: its bikes occupy the position traditionally held by our ITALIA models.


What changes is the role of ITALIA, which becomes the more accessible gateway to bikes made in our factory.

The Ultra² ITALIA marked an important milestone: those improvements translated into a significantly more accessible frameset and complete bike, while retaining a frame made entirely in Italy.

We are now extending that approach across the collection.


Every ITALIA and ITALIA X frame is made in our factory from continuous carbon fiber thread and then finished and painted in Italy; every complete bike is assembled here as well.

The new structure allows our Italian manufacturing to expand in both directions: reaching more riders through ITALIA, while giving its most exclusive expression a clearer identity through ITALIA X.

An Integrated Manufacturing Ecosystem

For 3T, carbon manufacturing technology is only part of a broader vision. Over the past few years, we have built a fully integrated industrial ecosystem in Italy, covering every stage of bicycle production, from raw carbon filaments to a complete bike ready to ride.

This vertical integration ensures full control over quality, performance, and efficiency, all within a single regional supply chain.

WPNT

They are equipped with more accessible groupsets and components, making them designed to reach a broader range of riders.  Solid, consistent, constantly updated, and accessible, these bikes are the perfect way to enter the 3T experience. 

Final Assembly

The final stage of production takes place within the same regional ecosystem, where frames are transformed into complete 3T bicycles, ready to ride anywhere in the world.

Assembly represents the final step in the 3T production chain. Every bicycle that enters our facilities begins as a carbon filament, evolving into a finished, painted, and fully assembled high-performance bike.

ITALIA X 

The aesthetic quality of our carbon is so refined that for ITALIA X bikes we decided to offer them in three special naked version.  

A thin layer of transparent coating protects the surface while revealing the unique texture of the carbon fiber underneath. The result is a finish that is both minimal and performance-driven, celebrating the material itself. 

ITALIA X bikes are offered in three different naked carbon finishes: Project X Matte, Project X Glossy, and INKED.

The made in Italy range

Racemax 2 ITALIA / ITALIA_X

A completely new design paired with a revolutionary manufacturing system based on RTM and dry carbon filaments.

Every detail is carefully crafted by hand at our facility in Presezzo, where each frame is also painted. For maximum customization, the Ready-to-Paint version is available as well.

Extrema ITALIA / ITALIA_X

Designed for ultra-endurance riders and adventure seekers, Extrema Italia is available in two colorways inspired by distance and the unknown: Selva and Abyss.

Like all our Made in Italy models, it is also offered in the raw Project X version or Ready-to-Paint.

Ultra 2 ITALIA

The Ultra² Italia is designed to maintain speed and momentum across varied terrain, combining comfort, control, and capability into a new form of efficiency.

Built for long-distance rides, bikepacking adventures, technical trails, and extreme mountain racing, it keeps you moving where you would normally have to slow down.

Strada ITALIA / ITALIA_X

An innovative bicycle that combines stiffness and aerodynamics with the comfort needed for every type of road. Entirely manufactured in our Italian facility using Filament Winding and RTM technologies, Strada Italia delivers a truly distinctive riding experience.

Available in Project X and Ready-to-Paint versions.

eExtrema ITALIA

The frames used on our e-bikes is exactly the same found on Extrema ITALIA and ITALIA X. All electronics, cables, and the battery are fully integrated inside the downtube, creating a clean, streamlined design with optimized weight distribution.

Powered by the Mahle X20 rear hub motor, delivering up to 65 Nm of torque, they offer a natural, intuitive, and fast riding experience across any terrain.e ridefinisce le aspettative per le e-bike.

Torno Crankset

Torno, meaning “to return,” was our first Made in Italy project, launched in 2018. It marked the rebirth of our factory, inspired by an era when the finest frames and components were meticulously crafted in Italy.

Today, Torno remains a benchmark for lightness, aerodynamics, and stiffness.
