From Cervelo to 3T Road Bike Frank Schleck 1

Strada Fränk Schleck Custom

Strada Fränk Schleck Custom

Road racing fans will remember Fränk winning at Alpe d’Huez on his Cervelo SLC-SL in 2006 or the Amstel Gold Race on his Cervelo Soloist. If not, then surely wearing the yellow jersey aboard his Cervelo R3-SL in 2008.

During his six years at Team CSC, he always rode Cervelo bikes designed by our Head of Design Gerard Vroomen , Phil White and the engineering team at Cervelo.

Even after, Fränk kept following Gerard’s work. When it was time for a gravel bike, Fränk knew Gerard had moved to 3T and called us up about an Exploro. As one thing lead to another, one Exploro lead to a Strada.

Fränk didn’t sit still after his professional career either. He created ‘Schleck X-perience‘, offering iconic group rides on the courses of Liège-Bastogne -Liège and the Amstel Gold Race (which he won in 2006) under his guidance. These are all postponed this year obviously, but will be held again soon!

Custom Strada

When Fränck showed me his logo and color choices for Schleck X-perience I really liked them. So I suggested that would look nice on a custom Strada. We’ve done a few before and people really seem to like them. So we worked with our designer to make a totally unique Strada for Fränck, as an expression of our friendship.

Drumroll please: the Strada Fränck Schleck Special Edition, equipped with the 3T Discus 45 | 32 Ltd wide carbon road wheels, our made-in-Italy Torno crank & Sram Red eTap. If you wants to ride this unqiue Strada like Fränck, the bike is available to purchase for US$ / € 8.499.

And Fränck is very excited as you can see here (as excited as a Luxemburger gets!):

Enyour your new Strada Fränk!
