When 3T approached us this past winter with a bold question—“What if we offered custom paint? Would Victory be interested in being the test pilot?”—my answer was simple: Absolutely.
At Victory Bicycle Studio, we thrive on pushing the envelope. Whether it’s building one-of-a-kind bikes for our athletes or launching community-focused campaigns, we always keep creativity and inclusivity at the core of what we do. So, when our longtime friends at 3T asked us to help launch their new custom paint program, we jumped at the chance—and immediately saw the perfect opportunity to bring a longtime dream to life.
PRIDE Month has always held a special place in our shop’s ethos. Every June, we celebrate equality, identity, and the freedom to be you. So, what better canvas for this message than the 3T RaceMax—a bike built for expression, adventure, and boundary-breaking performance?
We collaborated with our Memphis-based graphic designer, David Terry, who is not only incredibly talented but also a RaceMax rider himself. David was all-in from the beginning, and his creative vision brought this project to life. From the bold “Be You” statement on the top tube to the message that ties it all together—“Where there is Unity, there is Always Victory”—he truly nailed the vibe we were after.
But design is just half the equation. The execution? That’s where Italian painter Tony Spray (@tony.spray) took it to another level. His attention to detail, color layering, and finish work made this frame jaw-droppingly gorgeous. Chapeau, Tony. You crushed it.
This one-of-a-kind Pride Edition 3T RaceMax is now on display at our Memphis showroom, and yes—it’s available for sale. Built with SRAM Rival XPLR AXS and Zipp’s stunning Force hologram carbon wheels, it’s as fast as it is fabulous. But if rainbows aren’t your jam, no problem. This custom paint program is all about YOU. Whether you ride the Strada or the RaceMax, we’ll work directly with 3T to create a design that reflects your style, story, and identity.
