I love black and I hate black….
After one season of heavy trails, gravel and bikepacking, it was time to renew my scratched Exploro LTD, I was tired of black bikes…then I started looking for a new color. First I was interested on organic shiny/matt colors, something into the green or orange rusty family, then, into some kind of grey/anthracite.
Likely, one day I meet Tony Spray (Antonio Tabarin) he has his labo based close to Treviso, Italy. He was explaining to me this new special technique to reach this new color way, is not a paint, is not a color. He get it from a special treatment, something which require a special skill and treatments.
At first sight, it looks like when you heat titanium with a flame, the metal change into soo many colors. I love it since the first second, because is not one color is 10 colors….. in one!
Thank’s to Scavezzon Bikes and Tony Spray for this amazing art work.

TONY SPRAY is colored bicycle ….Tony Spray, almost 50 years of which 42 by bike …Tony Spray work and bike one passion …
These are the phrases that sum up in a more true and simple way what they are. I began to go cycling as a child, also following my father’s passion.
My first job did not center anything with the bike, but the passion was there and brought me to know an old painter craftsman of the area. In the free hours, I started with the real apprenticeship, sanding, sanding and still sanding, and, as they say here in Veneto “rubar co l’ocio” (learning the craft by watching …)
After a few years I became master of myself and the rest is what I am today…
