Mark rides to King of the Mountain in Tour de Suisse
Aqua Blue Sport athlete Mark Christian rode very strong in stage 7 of the Tour de Suisse and retained the King of the Mountain jersey and securing the overall mountain classification.
Mark, riding his Strada, knew that this day was his chance to take the maximum points, so he fought hard on the first KOM at Wasserfluh, 24km from the start line in Atzmännig. Mark’s main challengers for the title, Nathan Haas (Katusha Alpecin) and Romain Siccard (Direct Energie), who were second and third in the category respectively, were next to him on this first climb.
