Adventure, without taking yourself too seriously. As above all Gravel Up is about riding, living and having fun. You’ll be flying downhill from a col, or riding an awesome trail found by the local and qualified guide who will ride with you.
This crossing of Corsica takes surprising places of beauty such as the Coscione Plateau, the Ortolo Valley or the secret Cala Di Conca . The narrow cobbled streets of Sartene wind around charming churches, from which you can see villages clinging to the mountains, offering spectacular views.
Our Corsican Traverse takes in some of the most incredible local sights, such as the Plateau do Coscione (home of wild pigs) the Col de Vergio and the famous Corte village. There’s always a reminder of the wild side of Corsica, with nature not wanting to be tamed around every corner. Wild black pigs and donkeys in the road, with vagaries of the weather and the wild landscapes, you’ll need to be ready for anything on this adventure
Its not just about the bike though, Gravel Up and 3T also believe that “Beyond Biking” is equally as important so that you are 100% present both on and off the bike. It would be rude not to make the most of the local cultures and understand a bit more of the turbulent history of Corsica from the locals.
