The format remains unchanged: four courses, each reflecting the capacities of “demi” (37.5 km), “standard” (75 km), “magnum” (150 km), and Jeroboam (300 km) wine bottles. The spirit of the routes stays true to tradition: don’t expect a gentle gravel ride with towpaths and long straights. Conquering Jeroboam demands a willingness to test your physical endurance and bike. The Jeroboam Gravel Series routes, especially the longer ones, consistently offer difficulty, often rewarded with extraordinary landscapes and welcoming villages brimming with positive vibes.
For a few years now, the Jeroboam season has begun on the Asiago Plateau. The military roads and trenches from World War I are snow-covered until a few weeks before the event. Between May 31 and June 2, however, the colors of spring will replace the snowy white, and Antonio and Giulia from Col del Sole Bike Hotel will once again be ready to welcome all participants.

Don’t be discouraged by the almost unpronounceable name of the starting location for those unfamiliar with the local language. Those who can correctly type it into their navigation and reach the Kolovna friends will find true gravel and outdoor cycling adventure pioneers. Beer holds more tradition than wine here? No problem! The regulations allow swapping wine glasses for pints of excellent pilsner!

Mauritz, the organizer of the Austrian leg of Jeroboam, was one of the first to believe that showcasing the beautiful Carinthia region through Jeroboam was the best way to highlight his homeland. The sometimes fairytale-like landscapes serve as the backdrop for the colossal efforts required to complete the longest route. Note: if you want to participate, don’t wait too long. The Austrian Jeroboam has always sold out!

What can be said about this event? It’s the first, the original, the one on the territory that produces the wine that inspired the Jeroboam idea. Niccolò and Mauro, with their deep knowledge of Franciacorta and the surrounding areas, have been perfecting the routes for years, keeping them as faithful as possible to the event’s principles while incorporating small improvements to make each participation unique.
From February 1st, registrations are open for all four events of the series. Prices vary by event, but as a general rule, the earlier you register, the more you save!
