SPAIN
Sept 1: Badlands
800km +16.000m through some of the most remote and challenging places in Europe: the stunning forests of Sierra de Huétor, the deserts of Gorafe and Tabernas, the wild coasts of Cabo de Gata, the steep climbs of La Alpujarra and the highest Col in Europe, Pico Veleta (3.396m)
Sept 21: Sea Otter Europe

An already consolidated festival with the best brands in the cycling industry and a great environment to share knowledge between professionals and be in touch with your final client
The origin and inspiration for Sea Otter Europe lies in the Sea Otter Classic, one of the biggest cycling festivals of the world, which has been held every year since 1991 in Laguna Seca (California) and has never stopped growing and evolving.
Sea Otter Europe is the cycling festival in Europe, which is organised in the capital city of Girona, on 20, 21 and 22 September 2024.
The festival, during its few years of its existence, has managed to reach astonishing figures: 64,160 visitors, +5,000 participants in the sporting events and a total of +400 exhibiting brands, according to last year’s record.
Sea Otter Europe faces its next edition with a complete sports programme that includes challenges for competitive and amateur attendees, an exhibition area with the best brands on the market, demo circuits ideal for enjoyment and bicycles testing, and a list of activities planned exclusively for the professionals of the industry.
ITALY
Sept 13-15: Italian Bike Festival
IBF is the international “Salone” of bicycles and since 2018 it has been attracting the attention of the European market.
It is currently the leading event for the bike industry and for soft mobility. Over the course of three days, more than 500 brands will be interacting with final users, commercial partners and international media.
All the innovations and new trends of the bike market will be present at IBF. An opportunity to expand your network and confirm your own leadership.
There will also be panel discussions and workshops dealing with different subjects such as soft mobility, sustainability and cycle tourism.
Sept 21-22: Greenfondo Paolo Bettini
The warm heart of Tuscany
There is a place where the heat of the subsoil is transformed into clean energy. Among geysers, lagoons, fumaroles: the geothermal hills are a surprise at every corner and discovering them by bike is even more exciting. The Mediterranean scrub, the roads far from traffic, the fascinating cooling towers: these are just some of the ingredients that make this territory unique in the world. To pedal, to experience.
Green Fondo Paolo Bettini – Geothermal Energy
Starting from the ancient village of Pomarance (PI), the Green Fondo is an authentic celebration to be pedalled in the company of multiple world champion Paolo Bettini and his numerous guests.
For over twenty years, this event has taken participants on a real journey into Tuscan conviviality, with barbecues, parties with live music and refreshments with delicious typical products.
SWITZERLAND
Sept 22-29: UCI Road World Championship
Zurich will become the epicenter of cycling: from 21 to 29 September 2024, the 2024 UCI Road and Para-cycling Road World Championships Zurich will cast a spell over the entire city and region. An outstanding premiere of the 9-day event: for the first time, the road races for para-cyclists will be an integral part of the UCI Road Cycling World Championships. From attractive and challenging routes throughout the canton to the thrilling finale at Sechseläutenplatz in the heart of the city, 1300 riders from over 75 countries will be competing for the coveted rainbow jersey. In various disciplines such as individual time trials, team competitions and the elite road races, 66 winners will be chosen, bringing cycling to the people and allowing them to experience it up close during the final sprint to Sechseläutenplatz Ride along, suffer along, cheer along – we are all there: Together We Ride!
AUSTRIA
Sept 26-28: Jeroboam Wörthersee
Find awesome trails, make new friends on the ride. Everyone has their own challenge and experience, but we all share one goal – discover the world on the bike!
3 diffrent routes to live a memorable adventure in Austria.
300KM – The big, tough & dirty loop – for all massively mad riders who want to suffer. A gravel journey heading into Slovenia & Italy over peaks & passes in the Carnic Alps, three alpine rivers, and four refreshing lakes along the route. Just make sure that you are lion-hearted, not stupid: it’s 300 KM & 7000 M Altitude!
So, it’s up to you:
1. fasten your seatbelt and start flying over gravel (not serious)
2. bring loads of mate tea along to keep you awake (probably not serious too)
3. plan your night’s rest in nature or find a fancier shelter (actually serious)
150KM – Definitely long and brutal enough to be a crackpot on tough tires! Gravel roads, single trails, hollow ways up & down all around an iconic mountain. As a mustached or non-mustached Magnum rider, you will pass rivers, lakes & some stunning lost places in the Carinthian backland. Some parts are for speedy gliding over gravel, some for damning us and questioning yourself for participating! To sum it up: don’t underestimate 3000 m uphill on gravel.
75 KM – A route packed with pure Carinthian gravel variety. A wonderful and punishing path shredding along rivers, pedaling through woods, pushing up hills, crossing a mountain creek, and nothing but good vibrations on two wheels. Unless you are a mollycoddle you will have mind-blowing fun between your legs – otherwise, agony will kick in!

Join us for a day of gravel in the Niagara region in support of lyme disease research and the @gmagnottafoundation on September 14th!
Sept 27: BICI | CANADA’S BIKE STORE Demo night
join the Bici team and 3T for an evening gravel ride out to North Vancouver. A variety of Ultra and Racemax bikes will be available to demo along with samples from Never Second nutrition and Quoc shoes.
