My first gravel race in the Philippines
A perfect venue for my first Gravel Race with my 3T Exploro Race Torno at the very first UCI Gravel World Series here at Bongabon, Nueva Ecija, Philippines! Like they say it’s more fun here in the Philippines.
Tough mixed terrain, difficult climbs with one at 22 deg gradient with loose soil and rocks, river crossings, irrigation roads with loose slippery round stones, sand piles, hot weather, strong headwind at the open fields and many more obstacles that made it unique and crazy fun.
85 km for my age group (55-59 yrs old) and 65 km for the women (60 yrs old and above) with a total of 351 participants.
What an exciting and fun experience! Cant wait to do another gravel ride with my 3T Exploro Race!
