Last year, we integrated the SRAM RED AXS XPLR 1x13 groupset across our range from day one. From the rugged Extrema Italia, winner of Badlands, to the aero-focused Strada Italia, which earned top-tier results in the independent wind tunnel tests run by Tour, Germany’s most respected cycling tech magazine - we put SRAM’s 1x13 concept to the test across completely different platforms.
Now, SRAM brings that same concept to a broader audience with the launch of Force XPLR 1x13 and Rival XPLR 1x13. And once again, we’re ready.
Racemax Italia Force/Rival XPLR 1x13
Racemax Italia now comes with a choice of SRAM Force or Rival XPLR 1x13 — both full-featured builds based on the latest generation of components.
The Force version adds a distinctive 3T touch: instead of the standard SRAM crank, we equip it with our made-in-Italy 3T Torno, a carbon crankset that further reduces weight and enhances aerodynamic performance. It’s a setup that reflects the philosophy behind the Racemax itself — fast, clean, efficient.
Strada Italia Force XPLR 1x13
Sitting just below the RED version, the Strada Italia Force XPLR 1x13 build offers the same gearing logic in a slightly more accessible package — without sacrificing the core performance that defines the Strada.
We pair the Force group with Fulcrum Sharq 42 wheels and Continental GP5000 S TR 32 mm tires, delivering a fast and comfortable ride with exceptional handling and aero efficiency. The total weight comes in at just under 7.5 kg (size 54, tubeless, no pedals).
Extrema Italia Force/Rival XPLR 1x13
Our gravel adventure platform, Extrema Italia, continues to evolve. All “mullet” builds now feature the updated SRAM Force or Rival shifters, brakes, and cranksets. The groupset upgrade enhances ergonomics and shifting feel while maintaining the low-maintenance robustness, this platform is built for, all with no change in pricing.
