When I met Al, owner of the Q+M Cycling Team last week in Toronto he was very excited: that weekend the 10th edition of Paris – Roubaix was going to be held on his home turf Michigan. Barry Roubaix is with 3,500 racers the largest gravel race in the world, but it didn’t start that way. Ten years ago, about 300 people raced the 1st edition of Barry Roubaix on the cold gravel roads of Michigan. That day, Mike Simonson won the 1st edition of this (in the meantime iconic) race.

Since 2017 we partner with Al and his team at Q+M Cycling, providing them with the Exploro, our multi award winning aero gravel bike. The team has designed this awesome jersey that perfectly matches the 3T Exploro Team colors: white and red: the riders of the team are therefore easy to recognize in the pack.

Mike: congratulations with your 2nd win of Barry Roubaix , this time on the 100 mile (the “Psycho Killer”)!
